Terms of Service

Definitions

  • BreachDirectory is the publisher and operator of breachdirectory.com (the "Site") whereby BreachDirectory operates a search engine and various services (the "Services") available. For purposes of this Agreement, when "Site" or "Services" are referenced, such reference includes all hardware, software, and network resources necessary to provide said Site and/or Service.
  • When first-person pronouns are used in this Agreement, these provisions are referring to BreachDirectory.
  • As a client and the user of the Site or Services, this Agreement will refer to You through any second-person pronouns, such as "You", "Yours" etc.
  • The term "Data" explicitly refers to the data collected by BreachDirectory and accessible through its Services.
  • Revisions

  • These terms of service may be amended at any time without notice. By using this website you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.
  • General

  • By accessing this website, you agree to be bound by these terms of service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.
  • Any violation of our terms of service will result in immediate termination of Your account and Services without prior notice or compensation.
  • You may only use the service as it was intended to - using the service to cause harm to others is strictly prohibited. You may not use the Services in acts deemed illegal by the laws in Your region. You are responsible for obtaining your own legal advice regarding compliance with any and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Services

  • BreachDirectory reserves the right to refuse to provide You with any Service for any reason. BreachDirectory also reserves the right to interrupt access to the Services to perform any maintenance operations as needed.
  • Before paying for any Service, please make sure your email address is reachable - you will be provided an API key and all other applicable details to access the Services provided by BreachDirectory via email.
  • If BreachDirectory cannot find a reliable way to provide you access to the Service because your email is unreachable, it may revoke your access to the Services.
  • BreachDirectory reserves the right to email you once in a while (say, once every 6 months) to ask you about the quality of our services in order to assess our audience using the email address you provide when purchasing access to our services. You are free to choose whether you want to participate in any surveys we conduct or not.
  • Payments

  • Every payment is final, there are no refunds whatsoever.
  • Charging back will result in immediate account closure.
  • If you want to cancel your subscription, please cancel it through the user control panel, email us from the email address you've purchased access to the API to, or cancel it through Stripe or through your bank.
  • If you've cancelled the subscription through the UserCP, the subscription will be cancelled and the API key will be removed from our database as soon as possible (we aim to remove API keys within 48-96h.)
  • For every purchase, UAB Haunter Media generates invoices. These invoices will be provided upon request from the email address which has purchased access to the API from (we are working on this system to be automated.)
  • Should you want to receive an invoice for the items your company paid for, please email us from the email address you've purchased access to the API to - we will be glad to provide an invoice. We are working for this system to be automated.
  • The Data

  • BreachDirectory does not knowingly participate in the act of obtaining or distributing Data. Furthermore, BreachDirectory does not know how the Data was obtained. All Data is derived from public sources.
  • BreachDirectory strictly prohibits the distribution, extraction, or aggregation of its Data under any circumstances.
  • European data in the Service exists simply by the virtue of Europe being on the Internet - not because European audience is being specifically curated.
